The chances of this happening, I've been told, are extremely rare. Steve, Jeff, Brian and me were out playing our usual Sunday haggle, when Steve made a hole in one on the 4th hole. The whole group were ecstatic, and couldn't believe it. Brian and me were elated but also annoyed because we lost the hole. Then on the 7th hole, Brian made a hole in one. This was amazing, and everyone was in jubilation, we also believed it was karma. We all talked about how many shots were going to be had at the bar that night, and that work might be getting a phone call in the morning with a 'sorry, won't be there today' message, when at the 16th hole with the match 1 in our favour, Jeff holed out on the last par 3. Everyone was in disbelief, and while I still had my turn to hit, it wasn't lost on me that I had yet to feel the enjoyment of a hole in one....until my sweet 6 iron nearly broke the flagstick in half but luckily found the bottom of the cup. Let's just say, I can't remember the rest of the day/night too well.
